"Lights Out" (2016) | Movie Review
Release Date: July 22, 2016
Runtime: 1 hr. 21 min.
MPAA Rating: PG-13
Based on a very effectively-creepy short film under the same title, Lights Out will make your childhood (or still lingering) fear of the dark peak its head out. Diana, the evil entity that only appears in the dark, is sure to have you hurrying through the dark parking lot after seeing the film. Unfortunately, there are quite a few jump scares involved, but at least they aren't false scares and they make sense within the context. Still, Lights Out is an entertaining horror film that's worth seeing if you're in the mood for some scares—2016 has been a pretty decent year for horror so far. Check out my spoiler free review below!
